So last night Dave and I attended a party for Karl and Cecilie Pfluger. They are new to town and Karl is working for Don Evans (The Former Secretary of Commerce under Bush), and the Evans hosted a party at their house to welcome our new friends to Midland. Cecilie is going to be helping me with my Young Life group of girls next year and I am so thrilled to have her!
Also, I went and saw Emily in the hospital too. She and Phil welcomed baby Jackson into the world on Wednesday May 6th, 2009 and it was a red letter day! Emily is doing great and they sent her home from the hospital today.
I feel pretty good today and Harper and went for a long walk. Dave is out of town fishing with the guys at the Ranch in Llano, and I am having a slumber party with 15 of my sophmore Young Life girls tonight at our house. I just hope I have enough energy to stay awake at least until midnight.
