Baby #2's first sonogram

Well we had our first appointment and sonogram for baby #2. Everything looked really good and we got to hear that sweet sweet heart beat. It still has not sunk in that we are having a second baby. The appointment was short because there wasn't that much to go over considering we just did this. The Dr laughed and said do you want me to go over what to eat and not eat, and how to take care of yourself or do you remember? I said I was good...This pregnancy is speeding by. In some ways it is a lot harder...but that is mainly physical. Having an infant and being pregnant is EXHAUSTING. But the converse is that I don't obsess over every little pain or feeling. And I am much more confident about how things are supposed to go.

Fay is turning into a total social butterfly...shocking I know. She isn't much interested in playing that hard but boy she wants to join the conversation and sit with the adults and interact. We are blessed beyond measure.

Spring at the Ranch

We have been spending every weekend at the ranch in the month of April because it is so gorgeous! The last pic is from Easter and my dad looks too funny.

Our New Stats

I took Fay to the Dr yesterday for her 4 month check up and she weighs 14 pounds! Way to go little girl...she is in the 25th percentile for weight and 40th for height. She had her second round of shots and did great. Dr Reese said she is growing well and developmentally advanced (her words, not mine, but I will gladly repeat them) Must be because of her awesome parents :)
