So I am 19 weeks along today...almost half way! We have decided on her full name, it will be "Fay Marion Joyner" after both of our grandmothers. We love the name and are glad to have made a decision after a lot of discussion. I am starting to really show these days, and the one really good thing about being pregnant in summer is there are tons of cheap dresses that will work through out the hot months. I did finally get some maternity jeans though!
I went to look at fabrics for her room, and it is definitely overwhelming. But I think we are making progress. Here is a link to the bedding I like for the twin bed: http://www.horchow.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=cprod27200008&parentId=cat10550731&masterId=cat000072&index=29&cmCat=cat000000cat000072cat10550731
And then we can do color in the crib, curtains, and shams. At least it is one thing to go off of for now. We got her room completely cleaned out, and now we just have to decide on the color scheme and get the walls painted. I would love a navy blue print of some kind, but there aren't a lot of feminine ones out there, so if you come across one, send it to me.

Movement!
So on Monday I felt Fay move for the first time! I was dead asleep in the early morning and I woke up with heart pounding, because I had just felt something that I had never experienced before, and it took me a minute to realize that I had just felt her move!! It was amazing...I woke Dave up to tell him, and of course I wanted it to happen again immediately, but I had to wait until Wed afternoon to feel her sweet self again. We were waiting to see the Dr. for our 18 week check up and she really started going to town, at least 2-3 kicks in a row. And then I felt her again last night...the Dr says I should be getting hello kicks from now until she is born.
This is definitely one of the best things about pregnancy, there are a lot of negatives, but this is a for sure positive. Also, Dave has been "listening" to her daily. He puts his ear up to my belly and can hear her moving around. We asked the Dr. if that was truly what he was hearing or if it was just my body making noises, and he confirmed that you can indeed hear her. Which is pretty neat because I can feel her, but Dave and hear her! We love our little Fay J so much!
My 18 week appointment went well, they said her heart rate was perfectly average at 160 beats, and my weight gain was good (not too much, not too little). He also cleared me to go to Young Life camp in a week with my high school friends. Dave and I will be taking a group to Colorado for a week of Young Life camp, so please be praying for us to have the physical and spiritual strength and energy to get through the week, and for our teenagers hearts' and souls. They are great kids, and I want this week to be truly amazing for them.
I will be 20 weeks (5 months pregnant) while on the trip, and I feel really good. I have continued spinning, but have been making it easier on myself, and walking with Emily and little Jackson. Part time work has been so great during this pregnancy and I am thankful to be with a company and boss that is so understanding.
We finally got the garage cleaned out, and started to round stuff up for the garage sale we are having this weekend hopefully, and we will clean out Fay's room tonight! So, we can get started decorating her room. I have found a few things online that I really like, but it is a little overwhelming. I'll post pics of what I have found on the next post.
Well that is pretty much it for us...Fay is doing great, and that's all we can ask for. God is so good.
